The tournament will be a qualifier for USAT nationals.

Black belt divisions only will use the LaJust Electronic Hogus. You must provide your own socks! We will NOT be selling them at the tournament. Purchase the socks ahead of time from LaJust's Website.

Competition Format - Sparring will be single elimination only for color belts, and single elimination until the quarterfinals (top 8) for black belts, where it will change to double elimination. Color belts will have 3 one minute rounds, black belts 3 two minute rounds.

Eligibility - All students must be a minimum of 17 years old as of Jan 1st, 2010 and also be full time students at an accredited institution. Students who wish to compete in the black belt sparring or poomsae team trials must also meet FISU eligibility rules.

Divisions - All weights are now officially in kg. Convert kg to lbs.

For Black Belt Sparring, all black belts (regardless of dan) are in the same division. For Color Belt Sparring, there are 3 skill divisions (White-Yellow, Green-Blue, Brown-Red).

Male Individual, Male Team, Female Individual, Female Team, Mixed Pairs.
